The Italian minimalist skincare brand Bakel takes a different approach: cut the unnecessary ingredients, prove the ones that remain. Their formulations stop at five or six actives and skip preservatives, fragrance, dyes, and silicones.
What I’m using
The vitamin C cream and the hyaluronic acid serum, the two products most people start with. Both deliver the actives at high concentration in a clean base.
How it wears
Lightweight, fast-absorbing, and unfussy. Skin tolerates them without irritation, even on the days when other actives prove too much. The minimalist formulation is the point — you know exactly what’s working.
