If there’s one Laura Mercier line I keep going back to, it’s Laura Mercier‘s Flawless Skin collection. The whole idea is in the name: prep and polish your skin so makeup glides on like it belongs there. After a few weeks of putting these products through their paces, I’m hooked.
What’s in the Flawless Skin range
The line spans skincare and primer territory. The hero, for me, is the Flawless Skin Mega Moisturizer SPF 30 — a creamy, non-greasy daily moisturizer with broad-spectrum SPF baked in. There’s also the Flawless Skin Body Bar, the Eye Crème, and an entire ritual of cleansers and toners that all play together.
Why I’m obsessed
- Texture. The moisturizer is rich without sitting on the skin. Twenty minutes after application, my face looks like it’s had a full night’s sleep.
- SPF without the white cast. SPF 30 broad-spectrum, no chalky finish, no shine — rare combination.
- Foundation grip. Whatever base I put on top — tinted moisturizer, BB cream, or Laura Mercier’s own Silk Crème Foundation — clings beautifully and doesn’t break down by the afternoon.
- Skin gets quietly better. After about three weeks, my dry patches around the nose were just… gone. No drama, no peeling, just a smoother surface.
