Eyelash serums are one of the categories where the gap between marketing and reality is the widest. Most of them are glycerin and a peptide and a prayer. NeuLash is the rare one that does, in fact, give measurable results — at a price that asks you to be sure before you commit.
The protocol is once a day, applied along the upper lash line like liquid eyeliner. The brush is fine; one dip is enough for both eyes. I gave it eight weeks before judging, because that is roughly one full lash cycle.
Results at week eight: my lashes were noticeably longer at the outer corners (the spots that always grow back the slowest after I overdo a lash strip), and the texture felt thicker. They also felt healthier in mascara — less of the dry-snap when I removed makeup, more of the spring back that lashes are supposed to have.
What it is not: a Latisse equivalent. Latisse is a prescription bimatoprost product. NeuLash is a peptide-and-conditioner serum, and the results are correspondingly more modest. If you are looking to dramatically alter the length and density of your lashes, a derm visit is the answer. If you want to maintain and slowly improve, NeuLash is in the conversation.
Side effects on me: none. A few users report iris-darkening with prostaglandin-based serums; NeuLash is not in that family, so the risk is minimal — but always patch-test, and if you wear contacts, apply at night and let it dry fully.
