Youngblood

The first time I had ever heard of Youngblood Cosmetics was last year at the IMATS.  I just recently tried 2 products from Youngblood Cosmetics, their new Mighty Shiny Lip Gel and their Luminous Creme Blush in Plum Satin both launch June 1st, 2012.   I love the packaging of these, they are so simple and clean looking.   Youngblood cosmetics are all mineral based with help protect your skin from the sun, mineral makeup is great for people who have sensitive skin and allergies.

I tried the Mighty Shiny Lip Gel’s in Bared (sheer peach) and in Revealed (sheer pink-peach with gold shimmer).  I love that these glosses are filled with antioxidants to help protect your lips from getting chapped, helps with aging, and conditioning.  These glosses really give your lips a high shine.  The gloss is thick but not sticky.  I love that these colors are all really sheer and perfect for summer.  Bared gave my lips a slight tint and made them look full.  Revealed, didn’t have much color but looked more shiny because of the gold shimmer, it’s not glittery.  They are great to wear alone of over lipsticks.  Keep them in your bag for the summer you will be applying them all day.

I love Youngblood’s Luminous Creme Blush in Plum Satin.  I thought the color was going to be too dark when I opened it.  What I loved about Plum Satin is that it’s sheer but gives my cheeks a pretty flush.  It feels kinda creamy but goes on powdery.  I love that it’s a mineral cream blush, because itfeels light on and not creamy.  It also looks great on because it’s sheer, matte and not shiny like lots of cream blushes do.  This is also oil-free, so every skin type can use it.  It’s easy to apply and you can carry it in your bag for touch ups or if you want to add more in the evening.  You will love it. I want to try it in their other new color Pink Cashmere Satin, a matte carnation pink.

I these products I’ve tried from  Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics.  I now really want to try some of their foundations especially the Mineral Radiance Creme Powder Foundation, the Liquid Foundation and their Mineral Radiance in Sundance and Sunshine.
