Once again Smashbox does not disappoint me. I’m really glad that I jumped on board and tried a BB cream. Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream ($39.00) is really great.
If you don’t know what a BB cream is, it’s a product that was started in Asia. It stands for Blemish Balm, don’t let the word blemish throw you off. It’s not just for problematic skin. BB creams are usually filled with anti-oxidants, vitamins to help protect, nourish, and help your skin overall. It’s even safe enough to use on post laser skin and the most sensitive skin types.
This isn’t like a typical foundation. It’s between a tinted moisturizer and foundation in the coverage department. But Smashbox’s BB Cream has a primer, an SPF (it’s a SPF 35!), it helps control oil and my skin feels moisturized. It’s great for summer for when you want more coverage than a tinted moisturizer and less than a foundation. The great thing about this BB cream is that you can also use it as a primer and use under your foundation.
What I loved is that I wore this the entire day and my makeup looked the same when I got home in the evening. My skin looked flawless, I am really happy with this product! I wore it alone and under foundation and every time my makeup stayed put! It’s great! Definitely add this to your must have lists!
