I love smokey eyes, when I bought Nar’s soft touch eyeshadow pencil in aigle noir ($24) I was very excited to use it. I also ended up buying Nar’s pro-prime smudge proof eyeshadow base ($24). The eyeshadow pencil is a black with a hint of gold in it. It is easy to use and smudges easily. If you have a steady hand you could probably use it as a eyeliner. It’s soft and the texture is a little creamy. I use my finger to blend it. You could layer it with a powder eyeshadow to get a more intense result. I like how it looks at night and I like the little gold shine it has.
As for the primer, it comes with a little wand so it’s easy to apply and you could blend it with your finger. I didn’t notice a difference with using it or without using it. The texture is fine, make sure you put it on after your moisturizer because if you have foundation on the wand will get dirty. I would rather use an all over primer for my entire face than just this one for my eyes. For the price, I’d rather buy a full face primer. if you don’t use any primer or foundation it might be worth a try.
